MAY 6, 2008  -  FIELD TRIP TO POLYFACE FARM.  This extraordinary place gave us a whole new vision about farming for now and for our future!  We were able to  purchase the farm's healthy, organic produce, too - after a delighful hay wagon ride around the farm!

JUNE 5, 2008 - ANOTHER GREAT FIELD TRIP!  Garden Days at the Frontier Culture Museum.

SEPTEMBER 2, 2008 - A VERY SPECIAL FIELD TRIP:  " STAINED GLASS WINDOW    TREASURES IN HISTORIC STAUNTON."   We will be visiting three exceptional houses of worship - all containing world-class stained-glass treasures!  There will be docents to provide us with full information!  We will have lunch in The Depot Restaurant before proceeding on our tours.  Bring your cameras!

OCTOBER 7, 2008 - BEE-KEEPING: PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE.  What is the future for these endangered helpers in our gardens???

DECEMBER 2, 2008 - THE EXCITING GARDEN CLUB CHRISTMAS AUCTION!!!!   Wrap up some goodies, bring your checkbooks and prepare for some great fun!  Don't forget: the money we raise at this auction will help support some local youngsters to attend camp!  Let's set a record this year for helping our young people!!!
